An MTA worker was arrested for allegedly slashing a man who was sleeping on a subway bench during a dispute in Brooklyn. The victim received medical attention for a wound above his left eye.

An MTA worker slashed a man across the face at the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center subway station in Downtown Brooklyn early Monday, police said.

The 47-year-old victim was snoozing on the southbound platform of the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station around 1:45 a.m. when the worker poured bleach on the floor next to him, according to authorities and sources.

The victim, a 47-year-old man, was cut near his left eye on the platform for the D and R trains at the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center stop.
