A person has been seriously hurt following a shooting in west Charlotte Monday night, according to MEDIC. It occurred just before 10:30 p.m. on the 4400 block of Connelly Circle. MEDIC said the victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. It is unclear what led up to the shooting.

A teenager was hurt in a shooting in southwest Charlotte late Monday night, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. A CMPD incident report notes that shortly before 10:30 p.m., shots were fired into a home on Connelly Circle.

Police in Charlotte are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Sunday night in the parking lot of a light rail stop.

When they arrived, they found an adult man, later identified as 25-year-old Cristopher Saneth Rosa Castellanos, suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. A 17-year-old is dead following a shooting on South Boulevard near the light rail station at Archdale Drive. The shooting happened just after 8pm on Sunday. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says the victims is Yexon Madrid Perdomo.
