A stampede during a football match Sunday in Guinea’s southern town of N’Zerekore has killed 56 people. “The government deplores the incident, which marred the football match between the teams of Labe and Nzerekore,” Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah said in statement confirming the death toll. A commission has been set up to investigate, he said.
