M5.7 earthquake hits in Nevada, felt as far as Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A preliminary magnitude 5.7 earthquake has struck near Yerington, Nevada. It has fluctuated from M5.8, M.5.5, and M5.6. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck around 3:10 p.m. It was centered about 50 miles east of Carson City, Nevada.
