In just a few short days, everyone will be playing Marvel Rivals, the highly-anticipated hero shooter from NetEase Games. The game's closed beta was impressive, showcasing highly destructible environments and dozens of Marvel heroes dashing across the battlefield without tanking the frame rate.

Marvel Rivals is expected to launch soon on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, which has fans wondering about its release date and time. This hero-shooter lets players play as various Marvel heroes and villains in various PvP matches.

PlayStation surprises Marvel Rivals fans by announcing PS5 players and PS Plus subscribers will receive exclusive rewards at launch.

Marvel Rivals releases later this week and will be handing out some free cosmetics that players will be able to earn right away.

PS5 players can enjoy NetEase Games‘ hero shooter Marvel Rivals, and PS Plus subscribers can claim a symbiote-themed bonus at no extra charge. There is also a free skin for one of Marvel’s most beloved characters available exclusively on Sony’s gaming platform.

As noted in a PlayStation Blog article, we're told that Marvel Rivals will launch and be playable at 60 frames-per-second at 1440p on PS5, and that this will be bolstered by a High Frame Rate mode on PS5 Pro that extends this to 120 fps, and also a PSSR-enabled Pro Mode that also promises a stable 60 fps at 4K resolution.

PS Plus subscribers will get a new skin in Marvel Rivals for free, while all PS5 owners will also get a special skin to celebrate the game's launch at no extra cost.

Marvel Rivals may be a free-to-play game available on most modern platforms, but Sony wants you to play it on the PS5. As part of a PS Blog post, it’s announced a slew of added incentives for those playing on the latest PlayStation console.

Marvel Rivals will have an exclusive Scarlet Spider skin on PS5, and Peni Parker's Venom cosmetics will be free if you have PS Plus.
