Two people were hurt when a car hit a SEPTA bus in Port Richmond Tuesday evening near Castor and Richmond avenues. Both vehicles sustained major damage.

Police have the intersection of Richmond Street and Castor Avenue blocked off after a SEPTA bus and a car collided in Port Richmond Tuesday afternoon. SkyForce10 is over the scene and police, a tow truck and an ambulance are on the scene.

Two people are left with injuries after a car ran a red light and crashed into a SEPTA bus at an intersection in Port Richmond. The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Castor Avenue and Richmond Street in Port Richmond.

The cause of the crash involving the SEPTA bus remains under investigation.
