The affected products can be identified by their expiration dates, so check your packaging now. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that there is yet another food recall that Americans need to know about.

Multiple vegetable medleys sold at retailers including Walmart and Sprouts Farmers Market are being recalled due to E. coli concerns.

“Pets with Salmonella infections may be lethargic and have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever and vomiting,” according to the FDA. “Some pets will have only decreased appetite, fever, and abdominal pain. Infected but otherwise healthy pets can be carriers and infect other animals or humans.”

U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced that SunFed Produce, LLC (SunFed) is recalling all sizes of whole fresh American cucumbers due to potential Salmonella contamination. The cucumbers were packaged in bulk containers and sold individually through retailers as well as in bulk to food service outlets.

The recall is for fresh gourmet tortilla strips, Santa Fe style from Sugar Foods. The FDA issued the recall because batches became contaminated with wheat. Consumers with a wheat allergy could get a serious reaction if they eat the strips.
