Squint is an NPC that you will meet early in your time with Stalker 2. He is a person of interest to local authorities who want to know what happened to three of their men. You'll spend a bit of time in the early game tracking him down, and then you'll need to decide what to do with him.

The Needle in a Haystack mission gives players several options to progress in Stalker 2, but some are much more advisable than others.

Both quests get you the same result, eventually tracking down Squint. Working for The Gaffer leads you to the first radio tower inside Zalissya, and then a second one outside city. After you get the second working, you receive Squint’s PDA tracker, and you can find him at the mill, east of the city at the Farmstead inside the mill.
