Vladislav Goldin scored a career-high 24 points — including three straight baskets inside down the stretch — and Michigan defeated No. 11 Wisconsin 67-64 in the Big Ten opener for both teams.

However, since then, Michigan destroyed teams in the Fort Myers Tip-Off, including Xavier, en route to a 6-1 record. But Tuesday night saw a different battle — playing on the road against a ranked Big Ten team. And that team being a pesky Wisconsin squad at the Kohl Center.

I am disappointed we will only get to watch this matchup once during the regular season. Michigan center Danny Wolf will provide a difficult challenge to Wisconsin's bigs Nolan Winter and Steven Crowl. Add Vladislav Goldin into the mix for the Wolverines, and you have a real frontcourt fracas waiting tonight at the Kohl Center.
