“Deadpool & Wolverine” filmmakers axed a joke about Mickey Mouse’s “c–k” after Disney requested the line be cut from the Ryan Reynolds-Hugh Jackman Marvel movie.

Although the censors let plenty fly in Deadpool & Wolverine, one joke was a bit too personal for the folks at Disney. After the mega Marvel crossover film dominated theaters in July, the official script on Disney’s FYC website reveals the line that even Ryan Reynolds was too nervous to speak during the press tour.

While the creative team behind Deadpool & Wolverine was given a great deal of creative freedom by Marvel and Disney with their jokes, there were some things that were off limits, and one of Deadpool’s vulgar jokes written in the script for the film involved Mickey Mouse,

The original ending saw Deadpool and Wolverine save the day and destroy the Time Ripper before being immediately revealed as alive. However, in the final version, their fate is uncertain while villain Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) delivers a vitriolic speech.
