A new audit has found nearly 400 New Jersey police departments spent over $1 million total on a controversial training program known as "Street Cop."

It was a police training program that's been called "offensive" and "lewd." Now we've learned far more New Jersey police departments spent much more money than previously known on the controversial program called Street Cop.

The New Jersey state comptroller issued a new report on the scale of Street Cop Training's activities with public safety agencies in New Jersey.

The acting state comptroller found some New Jersey officers continued to seek Street Cop training, after the state attorney general banned it.
