Remember your Xbox Avatar? Well, your ability to change them up is going away soon. Xbox quietly announced that it’s shutting down the Xbox Avatar Editor early next year, and therefore, basically all Xbox Avatar functionality.

The Xbox Avatar Editor, first introduced during the Xbox One era, will shut down on January 9, 2025, Microsoft has announced. However, Xbox 360 Avatars will stick around.

On January 9th, 2025, that app (featuring the Avatar style you see in the image above) will no longer be available. If you've created an Avatar using the app, it'll also no longer exist, along with any items that you may have purchased.
