Reports: Rich Rodriguez to return as WVU coach
Nearly two decades following his controversial departure, it looks like Rich Rodriguez will once again be West Virginia University’s football coach. Multiple news outlets reported Wednesday night that a deal was being finalized between WVU and Rodriguez for him to return to the football program.
Rodriguez, 61, was the head coach at West Virginia from 2001-2007 and he played defensive back for the Mountaineers from 1981-1984.
