STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The Monroe County District Attorney is releasing photos related to a shooting at a Wawa that left a teenage boy dead, as the investigation continues.

STROUDSBURG, Pa. - A memorial is growing in Stroudsburg near the Wawa on West Main St. where a 17-year-old was shot and killed over the weekend. That teen has been identified as Garrett Gearhart, a student at Stroudsburg High School.

An arrest has been made after a teen’s life was tragically taken this weekend in the Poconos. According to police, 25-year-old Andrew Quatt-Rochi is facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide in the shooting death of 17-year-old Garrett Gearheart at the Wawa on West Main Street in Stroudsburg Saturday night.

A man was fatally shot Saturday at a Wawa in Stroudsburg, according to authorities. The Monroe County Coroner’s Office said in a news release that the man died from his injuries about 9 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono. An autopsy is scheduled for later in the week. The coroner’s office said the shooting was an isolated incident.

STROUDSBURG, Pa. — A 25-year-old man was arraigned Tuesday morning on criminal charges he shot and killed a teenager this weekend at a Monroe County convenient store.

Shots were fired around 8:20 p.m. Saturday at Wawa, 1015 W Main St., in Stroudsburg, Stroud Area Regional Police said.

Officers found 17-year-old Garrett Sorrenti with a gunshot wound to the neck and attempted lifesaving measures until EMS arrived and transported him to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.
