Users can now upload pieces of text they would like to imitate, and Claude.ai will create preset writing styles they return to later.

Just pick “Create & Edit Styles” from the drop-down to “Create a Custom Style.” From there, either paste in the text or upload a document file with your sample. Claude will take that sample and generate a matching style for you. Once you create a new style, it’ll show up in the chat box.

In a new blog post, the team at Anthropic explained that aside from the preset options, Claude can generate a "custom" style for anyone able to upload a chunk of their writing into the model.

In a newsroom post, Anthropic announced the release of the Custom Styles feature that will make this process easier. The new feature is available to all users across all platforms. To use it, users can go to Claude and see a new quill icon added at the bottom of the text field, next to the AI model selection button.
