PFL (Professional Fighters League) lightweight contender Zafar Mohsen made his debut with the organization at PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants - Ngannou vs. Ferreira. Mohsen defeated Husein Kadimagomaev by unanimous decision on Oct. 19, which has now been overturned into a no contest.

The Professional Fighters League staged its latest pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this past October. It marked a big night for the promotion, with heavyweight star Francis Ngannou and all-time great Cris Cyborg both making their SmartCage debuts.

Mohsen (14-3) defeated Husein Kadimagomaev (11-1) by unanimous decision, but the result has since been changed to a no contest, according to Mazzulli. Additionally, Mohsen has been suspended one year and fined an undisclosed amount.

Zafar Mohsen’s PFL debut victory is now off the books. MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin confirmed with Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation Chief Mike Mazzulli that Mohsen tested positive for a banned substance in tests following his unanimous decision win over Husein Kadimagomaev at this past October’s PFL Battle of the Giants event.
