Actor Allu Arjun has petitioned the Telangana High Court to dismiss an FIR filed against him following the tragic death of a woman due to overcrowding at the Hyderabad premiere of his film, Pushpa 2.

The Rule was released in theaters on December 5. Soon after, a female fan passed away due to asphyxiation during the premiere of the film in Hyderabad on December 4. In another incident, a man was found dead during the screening in a theater in Andhra Pradesh.
